For over two decades, Pastor Jim Heberle and his wife Becky have devoted their lives to serving the Lord in Queensland. Their unwavering passion for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ has profoundly impacted the CROSSROADS BAPTIST CHURCH and the vibrant community of Gympie and other regional areas.

​Our Church's Mission and Purpose Crossroads Baptist Church is a beacon of hope and spiritual guidance. Our mission statement, “Crossroads Baptist Church is going forth with a Great Message to fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandment for God’s Glory,” encapsulates our commitment to glorify God and edify the body through ministry.

Five Priorities of Our Church Inspired by the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40), our church prioritises:

• Worship: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart …”

• Ministry: “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”

• Outreach: “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel …”

• Fellowship: “Baptise them…”

• Teaching: “Teaching them to observe all things …”

Our Vision and Goals We believe God has placed us in Gympie and other regions for specific reasons:

• To show people the Bible way to eternal life.

• To support individuals in their daily lives where hurts and needs are real.

• To provide a place where people can discover God’s purpose for their lives.

• ​

 Our worship includes heartfelt singing, thanksgiving, praise, and the preaching of God’s Word. We engage in Spirit-led prayer, hearing the Word,  baptising new believers, partaking in the Lord’s Supper, and making commitments at invitation time.
